The paranormal researchers Abby Yates and Erin Gilbert are attempting to prove ghosts still exist in today's society when strange apparitions start to appear around Manhattan. They quickly turn to engineer Jillian Holtzmann and lifelong New Yorker Patty Tolan for help. Together, they prepare for a battle with over one thousand ghouls in the middle of Times Square.
